A new place to dock in the Quad Cities

Boaters, you'll soon be able to drive right up to the District and come ashore.

Rock Island City leaders approved a nearly 1 and a half million dollar bid to build a transient boat dock at Schwiebert Park.

It'll be called the landing.

Construction is scheduled to start this spring.
