GENEVA (AP) _ The head of cycling's governing body says Lance Armstrong ``deserves to be forgotten in cycling.''
The international federation has stripped the Texan of his seven Tour de France titles and banned him for life, after accepting a report from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that said Armstrong led a massive doping program on his teams.
The decision clears the way for Tour de France organizers to officially wipe out Armstrong's consecutive victories from 1999-2005
