It was a chance for Quad Citians to get a taste of how different cultures celebrate milestones.
The Quad Cities Multicultural Wedding and Events Expo was held today at the River Center in Davenport.
Floral arrangements, table settings, and jewelry were just some of the products on display.
Folks also had a chance to see formalwear from diverse cultures.
Organizers said there's a growing need in the area for events like this.
"The Quad Cities is getting more and more diverse, so I think we need to respect that we have different cultures in the Quad Cities and they are looking for opportunities to show about their culture and also to learn," said Jacqueline Tome, of Global Awareness Consulting.
This is the second year for the multicultural exposition.
