Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser

Members of the community are giving back to a local organization that gives to others.

The Habitat for Humanity chapter in the Quad Cities hosted its annual fundraiser tonight.

Dozens of people came out to the event, which included a silent auction and a hilarious competition for the new "Mister or Miss Habitat."

The organization hopes to raise money from tonight's gala to go towards local homebuilding.

Habitat for Humanity is a program that builds houses for families in need all over the United States.
