Men walked across centennial bridge in high heels for a cause.
Their QC catwalk raised awareness about domestic violence.
Organizers form the walk a mile in her shoes event at Schwiebert Park say this is a fun way for men to learn and experience what many women go through as targets of rape and sexual assault.
And they certainly made a statement as they walked across the Centennial Bridge.
"It's really important to have men involved because ninety nine percent of the time, it's women as the victims and they usually are victims of men, so having men involved to support the cause in telling men its not okay to be disrespectful and abuse women is huge," says Nicole Cisnedurbin, Violence Intervention Counseling Services.
Studies show one in five women suffer from sexual assault in her lifetime, so organizers say this is a way to show that it is not okay.
