Illinois takes action in meningitis outbreak

Illinois is taking action against the Massachusetts Pharmacy linked to the deadly meningitis outbreak. State regulators have suspended the license of the New England Compounding Center. This, after several hundred Illinoisans may have been exposed to tainted steroid shots. The pharmacy is in the center of a national investigation into more than 250 cases, and at least 20 deaths.
