A Quad Cities organization dedicated to feeding the hungry and housing the poor, is making quite an impact.
It's been almost a year since the East Moline Foundation was formed.
Today city leaders announced they're 70% on their way to raising their goal of $108,000.
Also, anyone who gives more than $500 will have a tree planted in their honor across town. East Moline's Mayor John Thodos says it gives folks an opportunity to give back to the community.
