An electrifying day at the Quad City International Airport. The airport added two new electric car charging units to its short term parking lot. It's all part of an effort to support the growth of electric cars over the next five to ten years. A US EPA grant helped the Quad City International Airport and Delta Institute make this possible.
"It just brings another customer service item to our passengers that utilize our airport and it's going to be a great asset to have four stations available," says Bruce Carter, the Executive Director of the QC Airport.
Carter says it's important to move forward with technology and keep up with the needs of Quad Citians and visitors.
