The job hunt could be getting easier in Illinois. Tuesday the Illinois State Department of Employment Security was in Rock Island to promote Illinoisjoblink.com. It's a web site that links qualified job seekers with businesses that are ready to hire.
"That's really key in this economy," Says Jay Rowell, Director of I.D.E.S., "when there are more job seekers then there are positions open. So you've got to have the resume that really stands out and the best way to do that is to tailor your specific skills to those jobs and what the employer's needs are."
Directors from I.D.E.S. said right now there are more than 6,000 jobs posted on the website.
