(AP) Eastern Iowa authorities say four teenagers who apparently ran away on a trip to Florida have been found in Illinois. The Benton County sheriff's office announced Tuesday that the teens were found.
Sheriff Randy Forsyth says they were found east of Peoria and all four are OK. He had no other details and was waiting on more information from Illinois authorities.
Skie Floyd and Jazlyn Visek, both 15 and from the Shellsburg area, went missing on Saturday. Authorities believe they ran away with two boys from Atlantic, 16-year-old Corey Sunderman and 13-year-old Austin Boggs.
Sunderman's mother, Crystal Sunderman, said her son and Floyd had been dating and she believed the teens were on their way to Florida for a skateboarding event.
