(AP) Several schools in northeast Iowa have been locked down while law enforcement officers look for two armed men. Several Ossian, Calmar, Postville and North Fayette schools were on precautionary lock downs Tuesday morning.
South Winneshiek School District Superintendent Chris Hoover says the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office suggested the schools take action.
Deputies have been focusing their search in the southeast Ossian/Castalia area. The sheriff's office says the two men are wanted on arrest warrants "and are considered armed and dangerous.''
