Davenport to buy Rhythm City Casino?

The City of Davenport announced Tuesday morning that they are in the process of buying and running the Rhythm City Casino. The city would pay $46 million for the boat and expect the cost to be repaid with future gambling revenue.

The city says that property taxes will not be used to buy the casino.
