New charges against area doctor

New charges have been filed against an area doctor. Dr. Norman Williams of Silvis had been originally charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault.

Since his arrest three new victims have come forward. All three are also patients of Dr. Williams.

On Monday the doctor was charged with four additional counts of Criminal Sexual Assault and one count of Criminal Sexual Abuse.

Police are asking for anyone with additional information regarding Dr. Norman Williams to contact the Moline Criminal Investigations Division at (309) 524-2158.
