"Walk A Mile in Her Shoes" is rescheduled

The Family Resources "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" has been rescheduled due to rainy weather this past weekend. The new date for the walk is Saturday, Oct 20th, starting at 10 a.m.

Men and women will strap on women's shoes in Schwiebert Park, in Rock Island, and then to raise awareness, they will walk across the Centennial Bridge. Feel free to bring your own women's shoes, and if you can't find a pair, join the group anyway!

The event is from 10 a.m. until noon, and there will be prizes, informational booths, kid activities and live bands.
