Pet lovers and their four legged friends had a paw-tay at the Scott County Humane Society's Annual Fall Fur-stival on Sunday. Prizes were awarded for best dressed pet and coolest tailgate party. The furry tailgaters also got to go on a scavanger hunt and enjoy some doggy treats. Organizers say the event is about finding new homes for the animals at the shelter, "It's an open house so that people can come in see the animals we have available for adoption. We've had a couple dogs adopted already today, so that's always a good thing," said Humane Society Director Pam Arndt. Money raised from the event will go directly to the shelter.
