One Man Dead in Davenport Shooting

One man is dead from a shooting last night in Davenport, that could be an accidental discharge.

It happened on the 1500 block of 16th street.

Police responded to the report of a shooting at 9:15 last night.

The victim was found in the basement and pronounced dead at the scene.

The thirty-six-year-old man was visiting and did not live at the residence.

There were an unconfirmed amount of people in the residence at the time of the shooting; police say some had left before they arrived.
