Man drowns in Eastern Iowa river

A man is dead today after a fishing trip in an Eastern Iowa river went horribly wrong. 52-year-old Wylie Tredway was fishing on the Wapsipinicon River with a friend when their boat capsized. Both men were pulled from the water by emergency responders, but Tredway died on the scene. The other man is expected to be ok. Neither of them were wearing life jackets.
