Motorcyclists in the Quad Cities are revving up to make Christmas a little brighter for needy children.
Almost 500 riders geared up for the 28th annual Toys for Tots ride.
The Patriot Guard Riders and Blue Knights Iowa traveled through Davenport on Sunday with a brand new toy strapped to their bike.
Their goal is to fill up two trailers worth of toys.
"We like to support everybody in the community as much as we can and obviously the kids without toys is a pretty big deal to us, we like to make sure every child has a toy this year," Event Coordinator Jeff Hoker said.
The ride started at the Wal-Mart on Kimberly, down Division Street, up to Brady and ended at Hobby Lobby in Davenport.
