A charity walk to raise awareness about a cancer, organizers said, isn't talked about enough.
Quad Citians turned out for the annual ‘Light the Night' walk.
The goal is to raise money for blood cancer research and raise awareness about one of our countries leading causes of death.
Survivors, families, and friends of those who didn't survive the illness, were all here tonight to show support, and raise money for a good cause.
"It means a lot, to anyone who's had Leukemia or Lymphoma in their family, and me personally it means a lot to me because I'm here, I'm a survivor," said Lynn Gruenwald, a Leukemia survivor.
