Fifth person charged in Rock Island murder

A fifth person has been charged in connection with the murder of Kion Lewis on September 7th. Lamont Williams was arrested this week and charged with First Degree Murder.

In addition to Williams, Kelvin Shaw, Andre Shaw, Jodan Murphy, and Joseph Richardson Jr. are behind bars, charged in Lewis' death.

Lewis was shot near a home in the 1000 block of 11th Avenue in Rock Island. The investigation is ongoing.

Williams has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 9th.
