New museum opens up

The doors to the new Karpeles Manuscript Museum will open in Rock Island Monday.

An exhibit featuring the life and writings of Mark Twain will be on display.

It also has the largest privately owned collection of historical manuscripts and documents including works by Einstein and the original draft of the Bill of Rights.

The museum is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
