Nichols Aluminum Workers on Strike Reach Agreement

It's a big step forward for workers at Nichols Aluminum.

After nearly a year negotiating a new contract, an agreement has been reached.

Workers went on strike in January and have tried negotiating a new contract since last October.

The two sides voted to ratify a new five-year deal.

Compromises were made on healthcare, wage increases and paid training for workers.
