Another Hy–Vee bank was robbed Wednesday, bringing the count up to three, and so far no one has been caught in any of them.
Caught on surveillance video, police say the culprit is a white man about 5'9'' weighing 220-240lbs.
The robbery took place at an American Bank and Trust at the Milan location. Officials say just after 12:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon he approached the teller with a note that said he had a gun, and demanded money. Then he took off in a car with the cash.
Milan detective, Chris George, says right now they're just trying to connect the dots to see if it's the same guy who hit the other 2 banks.
"Getting the other agencies notified, we haven't had time to compare too much but just passed on the little bit of information right off the bat so if there is a similarity between them we can all work together to catch the person."
Police have released security camera images from the bank. If you have any information about who this man is you are asked to call the Milan Police Department at 309-787-8520
