The upcoming holiday season means more demand for lots of businesses.
That includes places like the River Bend Food Bank.
River Bend is the largest hunger relief organization in the Quad Cities, they service over 300 feeding programs in 22 counties in both Iowa and Illinois.
River Bend's executive director said demand for food definitely rises during the holiday season.
He reminds folks however, that hunger is a year wide concern.
"We're constantly looking for food and need support from the community we serve," said Tom Laughlin, executive director of the River Bend Food Bank.
The food bank kicks off their student hunger drive over the next few days.
