More than 700 Quad Citians ate out tonight for a great cause. Chilies restaurants all over the country donated tonight's proceeds to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The Davenport location alone raised about $6,000 for the non-profit. Store Manager Bryan Ring says every penny counts.
"They run solely off donations so every little bit counts, I know company wide they raise several million dollars a year, for St. Jude but I was told to run the hospital it costs several million dollars a day, so I know it's just a small part of what we do but I like being able to help out and I know those kids will hopefully benefit from it."
If you missed it, don't worry, Chile's does this every year around this time.
