The Davenport School Board could make a decision as early as Monday night about major changes to bus routes in the district.
The Davenport School District needs to cut next year's budget by 3 million dollars.
To do so, they want to discontinue three types of routes: stop bus routes taking students to babysitters, and after school programs, including the YMCA, eliminate paid conditional busing, and extend walk zones from a mile and a half to the state suggested two miles for elementary students.
The school board still has to make a decision, which could come as soon as Monday night.
