Jillian Wilson - CBS4 - WHBF Quad Cities, IL-IA News Weather Sports

Jillian Wilson

Jillian Wilson made her debut as a reporter on CBS 4 in July 2012 after graduating from Emerson College in Boston, MA. While at Emerson, Jillian covered the 84th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles, the Occupy Movement, and a variety of other local stories for WEBN-TV, Emerson's AP award-winning news station.

Jillian interned at ABC News in New York City for "Good Morning America" and "Nightline". While there, she covered Hurricane Irene, pitched stories, assisted producers, and helped organize the summer concert series at Central Park.

Chosen as one of twelve American students, Jillian attended an Israeli media seminar to discuss Middle Eastern Affairs, sponsored by Project Interchange in January ‘12. Speakers included Nadav Tamar, the policy advisor to the Israeli President, Shimon Peres, NY Times Jerusalem Correspondent, Ethan Bronner and Einat Wolf of Parliament.

Studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain was one of her most memorable experiences. She attended the Universitat de Barcelona and traveled throughout Europe, trying everything each country had to offer.

Jillian is from Westchester, New York. When she is not reporting, you can find her dancing, hanging with friends, or exploring the Quad Cities. She has two brothers, Christopher and Joey. Although she will miss her family and the East coast, Jillian gets by knowing they are only a phone call away!
