Galesburg liquor change tabled

Monday night, the Galesburg City Council tabled a vote that would have allowed liquor sales at Lake Storey Pavilion. Council members decided to develop a special class of liquor license for Lake Storey. They will also consider requiring that a Galesburg police officer be on the premises during events where liquor is sold. They'll talk about the issue again on October first.
