Get ready to lace up your sneakers because the QC marathon is almost here. Thursday, The QC Kick Off Party was held at 11th Precinct in East Davenport. Members of the committee and volunteers grabbed their T-shirts and assignments for the big day. The QC Marathon is September 23rd. Races start at the John Deere Commons in Downtown Moline at 7:30 A.M.

"Five races through the four cities, over three bridges, in the two states, through one island, all within the view of the Mississippi River,"  said Joe Moreno, QC Marathon Committee Board
