Hundreds of hard working business men and women were taking it easy tonight in Rock Island. It was Schmooza Palooza, a big networking event thrown by the Quad Cities Chamber. A chance for business people to meet and connect with each other while enjoying food from a variety of different restaurants. The event also had beer and wine tastings and raffle prizes. Chamber President, Tara Barney, says it strengthens the QC economy. "Business people do business with people they know, and so this is a chance for people to share their expertise, share some cards, and line up opportunities to talk to each other more deeply in another situation. So it really is a way new lines of opportunity are opened up." CBS4 is a proud sponsor of Schmooza Palooza.
