Davenport school leaders are looking to make some budget cuts. But before they do, they want to hear from you.
They're talking about changing 3 things.
The first would extend the elementary school walk zone from a mile and a half to two miles.
They'd also eliminate busing for babysitting, including YMCA routes.
The district is also looking to get rid of paid conditional busing, which is available for students who don't qualify for free bus transportation.
The district will hold a listening session next Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 in the central high school cafeteria.
Superintendent Art Tate will be there to answer questions.
