Scott Co. YMCA hosting "Healthy Families Day"

The Scott county YMCA is helping Quad Citians live healthier lives with a "Healthy Families Day". The event will showcase vendors and booths with information on living a healthier life. There will be games for kids and information on classes and sports the YMCA offers.

"At the Y we offer a lot of programs for families of all ages, kids, adults. So what we want to do is bring them out there and give them more information about how to live healthier." Healthy Living Director Allison Mizer said.

Healthy Families Day is this Saturday, September 15th, from 11 am until 2 PM at Modern Woodmen Park. The event is free. If you would like more information, head to your local YMCA or click on popular links
