4 arrested in Rock Island homicide

A teenager is dead after being gunned down, yesterday on a Rock Island front porch. Quick police work has 4 suspects already behind bars. Rock Island Police have arrested and charged 4 males in connection with Fridays shooting that killed 17-year-old Kion Lewis. Police say 30-year-old Kelvin Shaw, 27-year-old Andre Shaw, and 17-year-old Jordan Murphy, all of Rock Island, have been charged with first degree murder, along with a 16-year-old juvenile. Rock Island Police responded to a shots fire call at around 3:30 Friday. When they got on scene they say Kion Lewis was lying on a porch at 1014 11th Avenue suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. Rock Island PD is still investigating the homicide.
