Fiesta for Viva Quad Cities is Today

Viva Quad Cities was the big event in Bettendorf today.

All day until 11 PM the Isle Casino hosts the organization for a big fiesta outside.

Music, dancing, food, and drink were all a part of the festival.

But the big idea behind all the fun was for a good cause.

Viva Quad Cities puts on the party to raise money for their scholarship fund, which benefits Latino youth in the Quad City Area.

However, there is another outcome of the fiesta as well.

"Through our fiesta we provide Hispanic/Latino cultural awareness," said Cecilia Nache Jimenez, president of Viva Quad Cities.

The party officially ends at 11 tonight, but organizers said because of the top notch entertainment, it could go on later.
