Sunday might be a day of rest, but for workers in El Patron, there are no breaks today.
It's the only restaurant opened in the District and with the Grand Prix in town, the streets are packed.
Folks are making up for yesterday's rain, but some people are complaining that they have to walk a few blocks just to get a bottle of water, so it makes sense the only restaurant opened is cashing out.
"It's usually, lunch time and dinner is our busiest time, but today, it's just been packed since the morning and we still have people coming in, and leaving and coming," said Monica Lara, a waitress at El Patron.
Today, along with the go-kart race, organizers added a car show and live music.
