Major win for IL prison workers

A major win for Illinois prison workers, Friday an arbitrator found that governor Pat Quinn and the DOC violated the state's contract with AFSCME by taking steps to close several correctional facilities across the state before they finished bargaining.

The prison closings will now be halted until an agreement between the state and union is reached. They'll head back to court September 4th.
