Illinois State Rep. Morthland injured in accident

Illinois State Representative Rich Morthland was injured in an accident on his farm Thursday morning.  A release from Morthland's office says the Representative sustained non-life threatening injuries while working at the farm.

He will undergo knee surgery Thursday afternoon and is expected to have a full recovery.  Morthland's office will remain open during his recovery.  Anyone with questions or concerns can contact the office at 309-762-3008.
