Shooting in Muscatine

Muscatine police are investigating a shooting that left one person in the hospital.

Just after 10:00 p.m. yesterday, police were called to 114 Walters Street. There were reports that several shots had been fired.

When they arrived, they found Jesus Lorenzo Zamudio was wounded. Zamudio was taken to a local hospital where we're told he has non life-threatening injuries.

Police are still searching for a suspect, the vehicle was last seen driving north on Walters Street toward Dale Street.
