Woman killed crossing the street

Police have identified a woman killed Saturday while crossing the road in Galena, IL.

Jan Einsweiller, 52, of Galena was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 20.

The driver of the vehicle was Paul Palmer of Elizabeth, IL.

The accident is still under investigation.
