Motorcyclist killed in Bettendorf

A Leclaire man is dead after losing control of his motorcycle in Bettendorf.

Officers said the 23-year-old man was heading west on Forest Grove Road when he lost control of his Harley.

The victim flew from his bike, landing in a ditch.

He was taken to Genesis East and later pronounced dead.
