More areas of QCA under burn bans

More Quad City Area communities are under burn bans as the hot, dry weather continues.  Monday morning burn bans for the following areas were announced:

Cordova Fire Protection District
Barstow Fire Protection District
Rapid City Fire Protection District
Hillsdale Fire Protection District

If you live in one of those areas open burning is not allowed.  You can still use grills, fire pits, outdoor fire places, and such where the fire is contained.

The bans will be in place indefinitely.
