Davenport man charged with arson

A Davenport man is in jail, charged with 2^nd degree arson.

Craig Peterson, 27, is accused of setting fire to a Davenport Police Department traffic speed trailer.

Police say it happened sometime after 11 p.m. Monday night. The trailer was sitting on West 68th
Street.

It is used to slow traffic and alert drivers of how fast they are going.
