Jo Ann D. Broome’s “My Forever Memories, Are Precious” records the foundations of her life

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (PRWEB) June 13, 2012

When author Jo Ann D. Broome decided to launch a new marketing push for her 2011 book, “My Forever Memories, Are Precious” (published by Trafford Publishing), she had one thing in mind: celebrating World War II veterans. Like the Honor Flight Network, which has carried World War II veterans from around the U.S. to see the National World War II Memorial at no charge, Broome is dedicated to ensuring that these men and women are honored and that they can record their service histories for posterity.

“This book was written to thank my friends and family for the impact that each contributed to making such ‘forever’ memories in my life,” Broome writes, “and to leave some memories for future generations. I wanted to show them that they are my personal character builders.”

An excerpt from “My Forever Memories, Are Precious”:

“My belief is that with each situation we experience in life, whether good or bad, happy or sad, each one can be a learning experience for us. We go through life – it is a passage. How we handle each of these experiences shows others our character. It can be either positive or negative. No matter how insignificant we think we are, we are each created for a purpose.”

Drawn both from her own memories and from the pages of the many personal journals Broome has maintained since she was a teenager, “My Forever Memories, Are Precious” offers to readers a clear portrait of one woman’s life. Broome is certain her readers will find, among her chapters, pages of their own lives to reflect on.
