Clay LePard has been with the CBS4 team since March 2012 after graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
During his time so far, Clay brought viewers along to witness everything from Rita Crundwell's $53 million embezzlement scandal to plenty of polar plunges across the Quad Cities (although he hasn't made the leap himself…yet).
Every Thursday night, Clay takes you inside one of the area's largest employers as part of "Rock Island Arsenal: Inside the Gates." To view some of Clay's stories, click here.
While at Syracuse, he anchored the nightly newscast at the nation's oldest and largest entirely student-run station, CitrusTV.
Clay also worked as a reporter for ABC News' On Campus program, where he covered stories in upstate New York for a national audience. He also interned with NBC for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver and with ABC News Nightline in New York City.
When he isn't working, you can probably find Clay at one of the many top-notch golf courses (he loves them all), sleeping on the docks in Moline, or watching any of his favorite sports teams like the Syracuse Orange or New England Patriots.
Raised in Wenham, Mass., Clay currently lives in Moline and if you see him around, please say hello. He can also be reached at clepard@cbs4qc.com, on Facebook or on Twitter @Clay_LePard
