Meredith Dennis
Meredith joined the CBS4 News team in August 2011 as morning anchor and producer. Before coming to CBS4, she spent two and a half years at another local station as a morning reporter. She also produced and filled in on the anchor desk.
A Cedar Falls, IA native, Meredith has a BA in Media Arts from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. She got her start as a reporter and fill in Anchor at WTWO in Terre Haute, IN. Meredith has covered everything from grand openings and political campaigns to murders and historic floods. She has been touched by the people she has met and the stories she has been able to share with viewers.
Meredith is married and in February of 2012, she and her husband welcomed a baby girl into the world. When she's not covering the news, Meredith enjoys relaxing at home or on the boat with her family and friends. She coaches the dance team at Davenport Central High school, and loves to sing and dance. You may also find her at the gym or out for a run. Meredith loves to take part in 5k's, so let her know about your favorite races. Sundays you'll find her cheering on the Steelers!
