The Retro Television Network - or RTN as it was known then - first went on the air in July of 2005 in Little Rock, Arkansas. After the switch to digital on June 12, 2009 the channel was renamed RTV. From the start everyone knew this channel offered something very special. RTV features some of the vintage television shows from the early days of the medium, classic shows like Leave It To Beaver, McHales Navy, The Rockford Files, Emergency, Adam-12, Dragnet, The Incredible Hulk, Magnum P.I., The A-Team and many, many more. RTV quickly began launching stations across the country.
RTV4 went on the air in the Quad Cities on December 1, 2008 on WHBF-TV's secondary digital channel. It can be found over-the-air on digital channel 4.2 and on many area cable systems including channel 245 on Quad City Mediacom systems.
RTV has amazed supporters and critics alike with its fast paced growth and commitment to quality. WHBF-TV is very proud of the network we have launched and invite you to check it out for yourselves. You will NOT be disappointed.
