Water Supply Allegedly Threatened

CLINTON, Iowa (AP) _ An eastern Iowa man is out on bail after authorities arrested him for allegedly making threats to poison the city of Calamus' water supply.

Officials say Jeffrey Soboroff of Calamus made a posting to his Web site last week that claimed he was going to dump Thorizine into the city water tower.

Soboroff faces threat charges as well as unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Clinton County sheriff's deputies say during a search of his home they found generic pills of Flexeril -- a muscle relaxant -- but he didn't have a prescription. Sobroff was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
