Light Snow Moves in Sunday...
Cold temperatures have been dominating the headlines the last few days in the Quad Cities. Temperatures will be a little warmer in the middle 20s on Sunday, but that comes with a storm system that will bring light snow to the area. This will be a light, fluffy snow with the cold air mass still in place, so a quick 1 to 3 inches will accumulate across the area. Lighter amounts will be found southeast of the Quad Cities, with a solid inch to inch and a half here in the metro area. The 2 to 3 inches will be found northwest of the Quad Cities with higher amounts outside of the viewing area. (You can catch the snow totals graphic in the CBS4 Online Weather video).
We dry things out on Monday, but temperatures will still be cold. We rebound to temperatures near average by the end of next week.
