A lawsuit filed by workers with the Iowa Department of Corrections over a moldy building in Davenport has been settled.
The ten workers filed the lawsuit against Community Resources Corporation, complaining that leaks, poor air quality and high mold levels affected their health.
The 175 thousand dollar settlement will be paid evenly between the state and community resources. Test showed mold levels in the building as much as twelve-thousand times those found in an average home.
