ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis man has pleaded guilty to voting in both Missouri and Illinois during the November 2008 general election.
The U.S. Attorney's office says 34-year-old Tarrell Campbell pleaded guilty Friday to one felony count of voter fraud. Sentencing is Oct. 22.
Court records show that Campbell had long been registered to vote in St. Louis when he moved to nearby Edwardsville, Ill., in 2007, then registered to vote there. Prosecutors said Campbell voted in Illinois as part of the state's early voting procedure in October 2007, then voted in St. Louis on Election Day.
